Arm Barrier
Funny picture of a security gate?
Someone showed me today a picture of one of those ‘arm barrier’ style security gates, blocking a road – but not connected to any fences or anything, so that cars would just drive around it on either side. The picture was taken from high above so you could easily see the wheel tracks of all the cars that had just avoided going through the barrier.
I have tried Googling for this with any number of combinations of keywords, but can’t find it. Any suggestions? Obviously the ‘message’ of the photo is that it doesn’t matter how good your control is, it’s useless if people can just sidestep it – so I guess it’s the kind of photo that might turn up on a management / business website.
