Can you join FDNY if you wear glasses?
Im as blind as a bat without my glasses but can see perfect with them on, if i was to go to medical and thy were to test my vision do they require me to remove my glasses for the eye exam cause like i said i cant see without my glasses, i know they have special SCBA masks that they fit with my glasses if i do get hired but before that at medical, must i read those letters on the wall with OUT my glasses or would i need to get lasik?
I think you can, but wearing glasses will cause discomfort when you wear the mask. One thing for sure they had eye requirement, you should ask them.
